The artwork

Green for light backgrounds. Cream for dark backgrounds. Icons and wordmarks have transparent backgrounds; SVG lettering is outlined so it looks the same without installing a font.

Connect PlateHerder

Use this label for the action that starts connection setup in your app. Explain which permissions you need before asking for access.

Connect PlateHerder

This example opens the integration guide. In your app, point the button to your own connection-start route, which creates a secure OAuth request and sends the user to PlateHerder for approval. Read permission includes plate notes, tags and source details.

Your app should store tokens securely on its server, validate the account with GET /me, and explain how to disconnect. Follow the integration guide for the complete flow.

Attribution to PlateHerder is optional. A small badge in your Meals screen or integration settings is enough. Link it to PlateHerder.

Download the artwork into your app’s assets and replace the example image path with its location.

Give the source its credit

Every imported plate needs a visible link to its original source. For YouTube, show the creator and use the official player. Our badge accompanies that credit; it does not replace it. A user’s private plate URL is not a public share link.
